Shorey & Phil's Brewery Wedding

Well, first I must apologize to Shorey for waiting so long to blog her wedding. Maybe she will believe that I was waiting until the new website went live? Shorey, you and your wedding are nothing short of amazing. Thank you for being such a fantastic assistant and Event Scientist.

But I digress... so what happens when a wedding planner gets married? Well, this post of awesomeness you are about to see. Shorey had three things she wanted when she and Phil got married: killer food and drink, an all out dance party, and a stunning "never been seen before" bouquet. Check, check and check! Bauhaus Brew Labs was the venue so consider the drinks done with their great beer. For food we brought in some of the best food "trucks" in town: Big River Pizza, Hola Arepa (build your own gourmet nachos!), Divine Swine, New Bohemia, and a selection of cheeses that we paired with beer (obviously). After guests had gorged on all. the. food. DJ Digie got them out on the dance floor (per usual).

And for the bouquet, I mean, THE BOUQUET. Lacie with BLOMMONSTER just crushed it. Have you ever seen such a cool cascade?! It was literally three feet long. I really loved the bridesmaids' bouquets as well. They were wood lanterns I found at Home Goods - aka my second home - and Lacie was up for the challenge to turn them in to "bouquets" that then turned in to centerpieces. Gotta love double duty design dollars. And alliteration.

Bauhaus provided much of the inspiration for the decor and color palette. The invitations and paper goods Shorey's brother-in-law designed mimicked the Bauhaus branding. Polka dots could be seen throughout including on Shorey's J Crew dress. This fun, colorful, easy breezy wedding is one I will never forget! Can't forget to mention these vendor partners: Athena Pelton for the photos, Rudy's Event Rentals, Beverly & Co., The Traveling Photo Booth, and Resqwater for the most appropriate party favor.
