Industrial Luxe

Something I have been waiting for for a long time (like 6 years) is finally happening… this old machine shop that sat abandoned for years is turning in to my dream venue, called (appropriately enough) the Machine Shop. I love everything about the space. The raw elements, exposed metal and brick, the windows (THE WINDOWS!) and all the cool machinery pieces that will stay as a small piece of Minneapolis history.

I was fortunate enough to do the first official styled shoot there and we actually did two in one day! Not sure how we did it (coffee, naivete) but I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. This is the first one I am going to share with you, it is simple and clean and lovely. Jessica from the Machine Shop has actually coined a term for it #industrialluxe

Of course, it takes a (vendor) village so I have to give major thanks to Cadence and Eli for the stunning images, Apres Party & Tent Rentals and Beverly & Co. for the rentals, and last but not least BLOMMONSTER for the floral. Amanda, my friend, thank you for your stellar modeling, glad you were able to wear your wedding dress one more time!
